A passionate Emirati entrepreneur and visionary business leader, Mr. Mohamed Rashed Alfalasi is Chairman and owner of a diversified portfolio of businesses dedicated to meeting the community's needs and positively impacting Dubai's economy. The ventures established by him span across various sectors, including real estate, healthcare, construction, Investment, fine dining, and travel & tourism. His strategic acumen and visionary leadership have been instrumental in steering these businesses to success. He has earned his Bachelor’s degree in Administrative Sciences. In 1990, he founded Buset Contracting, one of the first Emirati-owned Construction firms in the UAE. He later established Buset Investments Company as real estate arm of the business. In 2007, he established the Canadian Specialist Hospital. A multi-specialty private hospital, fully owned by Emiratis, aimed to provide world-class medical facilities meeting the highest international standards. His vision emphasized ethical healthcare based on scientific evidence, contributing to a healthy and happy society in the GCC region and beyond.

Ahmed E. El Rabbat brings over 10 years of diverse experience in investment management, corporate governance, and leadership within the healthcare, construction, and real estate sectors. As Vice-Chairman and Executive Board Member of Moraal Holding, he plays a key role in the group's transformation and growth. He is also the Managing Partner for Moraal Multi-Asset Fund. Ahmed is a civil engineer with an Executive MBA from London Business School, specializing in finance, strategy, and entrepreneurship. He combines his extensive leadership experience with a strategic perspective on healthcare, infrastructure and investment opportunities. He also serves on the Board of Yainvest AG, an innovative software company, where he offers his industry insights into tech-driven growth strategies.
Michael Johnston-Smith MA, BSc, MRICS, MHKIS, MCR
Group Chief Operating Officer
Michael brings 20 years of experience in Family Businesses and Family Offices working for Emirati, British, Kuwaiti, Omani, and Egyptian families. Skilled in mitigating geopolitical and commercial risk across diverse markets and asset classes, he has held roles including board director, CEO, COO, and CIO. With a background in investment, real estate, and law, he has lived 18 years in the Middle East and 8 years in the Far East.
